Here’s the Reason Why Sophie Albert Chose to Transfer to GMA-7

Former Kapatid star Sophie Albert revealed the reason why she chose to transfer to GMA-7.

Just recently, the Artista Academy winner signed a 5-year contract with the Kapuso network.

According to the 27-year-old actress, she was not able to finish her contract with TV5 after “nagpa-release ako on my fourth year.”

When asked why she chose to transfer to GMA over other networks, she said: “Why not? “I guess, fate just brought me here, and I think it’s one of the best decisions I made. And, iyon, so far, I’m very happy here.”

She noted that she was also happy for her 4-year career under Kapatid Network.

Sophie Albert is now being managed by GMA Artist Center and veteran talent manager Manny Valera.

Sophie Albert stars in the Halloween episode of drama anthology Magpakailanman, entitled “Nika Manika: The Possessed Doll.” This mark as her second project as a Kapuso artist.

In an interview with PEP.ph, she stressed that she’s closing her doors for the meantime with regards to dating.

She came from a failed relationship with a fellow TV5 artist, Vin Abrenica, who’s now a talent of ABS-CBN.

According to the entertainment site, Sophie came from the prominent Cojuangco family.

Her paternal grandmother is a sister of late President Corazon Cojuangco Aquino, which means she’s a niece of former President Noynoy Aquino, Kris Aquino, and Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski.
