Palace Accuses “Former Page Administrator” On Intriguing Comment From OPS

Another gaffe from the Office of the Presidential Spokesperson (OPS) has surfaced.

OPS – Another gaffe from the Office of the Presidential Spokesperson (OPS) has surfaced and the quite intriguing comment has been blamed to a “former page administrator”.

This quite controversial comment from the verified Facebook page of the Office of the Presidential Spokesperson has been captured during the FB Live of Mindanao Hour today, October 27.

A screenshot of the comment has been obtained from the Twitter account of the CNN Philippines.

The comment says, “si pia at si lourd devera pantay na sa kakupalan.”

And has immediately elicited reactions from the people of the social media community.

A certain  has commented, “Their unprofessionalism and shamelessness are already beyond words! Haaay!

Then another comment has been from made  to where he said, “This is an amazingly fast post than a sworn affidavit indicting a senator and someone who knows where to specifically get narcotics.”

And from Inquirer, the Palace has released a statement over the matter to which, as per the statement, they were blaming the gaffe a  “former page administrator”.

The statement of Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella on the FB comment made by OPS said, “The Office of the Presidential Spokesperson (OPS) wishes to clarify the comment made in the official OPS page during today’s Mindanao Hour press briefing.”

“The aforementioned comment was written by a former Administrator of the page who is no longer connected with the office.”

“The said comment does not reflect the official and the personal views of the Presidential Spokesperson or his office on the individuals being referred to.”

“The OPS team has immediately acted on the situation by removing the former Administrator’s access to the page and restricting page role.”
