Phoebe Walker Speaks On Rumors About Coco Martin
PHOEBE WALKER – Actress Phoebe Walker defended actor Coco Martin from rumors that he shouts at the cast of upcoming film ‘Ang Panday’.
Coco Martin is currently working on the remake of ‘Ang Panday’ which is one of the entries to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival. He is not just the main cast of the movie but as well as the director and producer of the film made popular by the late Fernando Poe Jr.
Based on a report, Coco Martin’s leading lady in the upcoming movie is Binibining Pilipinas International Mariel de Leon, the daughter of veteran artists Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong.
Recently, there were rumors that Coco shouts at the cast of ‘Ang Panday’. One of the supporting casts, Phoebe Walker, defended the actor.
Based on a recent report in Pep, in an interview with the source during the launching and press conference for television mini-series Tabi Po, Phoebe Walker expressed that she has never witness Coco Martin shouting at a cast.
According to the 25-year-old actress, there are times that they tape until late night and there are mistakes and getting annoyed is inevitable perhaps due to stress but it did not reach to the point of shouting.
“Yung manigaw ng ano, di ko pa na-experience,” Phoebe expressed.
Based on the report, the actress which is one of the casts hand-picked by Coco Martin is happy to work with the actor. She described the actor as a happy, caring, and kind person.
When asked on how the actor divides his role as an actor, director, and producer of the film, Phoebe Walker expressed that Coco stays behind the scene when he is not part of the scene being filmed.
“Pag take naman niya, like nagkaroon kami ng fight scene, dini-direct niya ako mismo habang nagba-blocking kami,” she said.
Based on the report, Coco Martin has invited foreign teams to direct them with the stunts and fight scenes. The main antagonist of the film is played by actor Jake Cuenca. There is a total of 80 casts.
