Female Netizen Who Sings, Calls Duterte “Killer” On Her Song Slammed By Duterte Supporters
The supporters of the president have slammed a female netizen who was singing and calling President Rodrigo Duterte as “Killer” on her song.
The Philippines was known for being a democratic country wherein there is freedom of expression and speech, which was well-practiced by the Filipinos.
The Filipino usually practice their freedom of expression online through posting their sentiments in the social media. However, the too much freedom in the country has negative effects such as the spread of fake news.
The critics of President Rodrigo Duterte was also practicing their freedom well in expressing their disappointments and opposition to the current administration.
Recently, the Facebook page “Duterte Express” has uploaded the video of a female netizen identified as Jasmine Cruz who made her own rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” but the lyrics were describing the president negatively.
In the video, Jasmine introduced her song entitled “Killer” pertaining the anti-illegal drug campaign launched by the Duterte administration last year, which was linked to Extrajudicial Killing (EJK).

The lyrics go with: “Duterte is a killer, killer siya! Ang Presidente natin ay killer na sh*nga pa. Killer, killer siya! You’re fighting for your life when you go home and there’s more. Killer, killer siya! You’re fighting for your life because he’s a killer, hitler, sh*nga!”
The Pro-Duterte netizens criticized Jasmine for making fun of president and calling him a killer. Here are some of the comments:
