Kim Atienza had a dreadful experience in Laguna as a cop pointed a gun on him, according to Lito Atienza
Buhay Party-list Rep. Lito Atienza claimed that his son Kim Atienza and his cycling buddies had an untoward incident with a cop in Sta. Rosa, Laguna two weeks ago.
The Solon elaborated that said unfortunate day when Kim along with other three cyclists were biking along the high way.
Unexpectedly, a car overtook them and the enraged driver went out while pointing a gun on them, said in a report of Inquirer.
The older Atienza continued on saying that Kim and his companions during that time initially did not figure out what might be the reason why the policeman pointed gun on them.
Apparently, it was because the overtook and went past the cop.
Later on, the ‘the Matang Lawin’ host and his friends had known that the person who pointed gun on them is a police colonel in Laguna.
Rep. Atienza expressed his strong resentment on what happened to his son and condemns the prevailing culture of death in the Philippines and this might also happen to anyone in the country.
He also said that killings nowadays have been a wide topic among the media and there is no certain assurance if a case is drug-related or not.
The member of the House of Representatives also stated that if what happened to Kim Atienza and friends got even worse to the point that they were killed, then it will just easy to put some sachets of illegal drugs beside their dead bodies.
Rep. Atienza iterated that the culture of death which is presently occurring in the country will eventually punish and affect every citizen.
“We don’t want this to happen to you, any citizen, to be victimized by the culture of death. They are not afraid to kill anymore,” Atienza said in a report.
