An honest immigration officer was all praise after returning $1,900 or approximately PHP96,985.50, he found at the Terminal 1 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
According to the report of Unang Balita, the honest Bureau of Immigration officer identified as Reimond Lagman then notified his supervisor when he found the money.
The money was surrendered to the lost and found section of NAIA.
Despite his low salary, the immigration officer shared that he never thought of keeping the money.
The report noted that the owner of the money is still being verified.
