Here’s the First Project of Matt Evans on GMA-7

Weeks after former Kapamilya star Matt Evans left ABS-CBN, he gets his first project under GMA-7.

The 30-year-old actor stars on GMA-7’s Tadhana which is hosted by Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera.

It can be recalled that it was on September 11 when Matt Evans left ABS-CBN.

Matt Evans is set to debut acting as a Kapuso actor via the OFW-themed drama anthology Tadhana which is slated to premiere this coming Saturday, September 30.

The episode is entitled “Love, Israel”. It will co-star Lauren Young and will air after Ika-6 Na Utos.

The said episode centers on the story of Kristina (Lauren), a Filipina who worked as a caregiver in Israel.

Here’s the synopsis of the story according to PEP.ph:

“Kristina’s positive outlook is put to test when she accepts to be the caregiver for Caleb—played by Matt—a young, wealthy Israeli suffering from muscular dystrophy. Kristina tries to change Caleb’s negative attitude by showing him that life is worth living. Eventually, Kristina will not just bring color to Caleb’s life. Their bond will change both their lives and hearts in a way they did not both expect.”

Aside from Matt Evans and Lauren Young, joining the cast are the following; Shyr Valdez, Rolando Inocencio, and Mickey Ferriols.

Matt Evans last appeared on television as one of the casts of defunct ABS-CBN heavy drama, “The Greatest Love”

He first came to prominence when he became a housemate of the first ever edition of Pinoy Big Brother.
