Agot Isidro Explains Why She Doesn’t Like President Duterte
The Filipina actress Agot Isidro finally revealed the reason for being one of the most vocal critics of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Agot Isidro is a Filipina actress, television host, and singer who works in the showbiz industry for more than two decades. She has been already featured in different television shows and movie projects and received various awards as an actress.
Aside from being a popular celebrity, Isidro was also known as one of the most vocal critics of President Duterte, through expressing her disagreement with its leadership.
Recently, the actress has finally revealed the reason why she doesn’t like President Duterte and explained where it all started.
The 51-year-old actress said that she was turned off on how Duterte talks and cussing in public, but still gave him a chance. However, Agot realized that she has had enough because of the Extrajudicial Killings (EJK) linked to the anti-illegal drug campaign of Duterte administration.
“Kasi na-turn off ako sa mga pagmumura. Kasi napaka-basic nun, e, di ba? “Yung pagmumura, hindi lang ng kung sinu-sino, pati head of the state, minumura,” said by Agot Isidro quoted by PEP.ph
“Actually, hindi lang naman President Duterte, kundi yung pamamalakad lang niya, and later on, hindi ako agree sa mga desisyon niya na nangyayari ngayon,” added by Isidro.
Isidro reiterated her opposition to the killings saying that the drug suspects doesn’t deserve to be killed. She also explained that it is not a criminal issue instead it was a social and health issue.
