Singer Noven Belleza Denies Out-Of-Court Settlement Over The Dismissal Of Sexual Assault Case Filed Against Him
The TNT grand champion Noven Belleza has declined the out-of-court settlement over the dismissal of sexual assault case filed against him.
Previously, a sexual assault case has been filed against the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” grand winner Noven Belleza for allegedly molesting and attempted to rape a 19-year-old female singer from Cebu.
The singer denied the accusations of the complainant and insisted his innocence. The issue has also garnered divided reactions from the public, but most of the celebrities believe that Noven is innocent.
On July 16, 2017, the 22-year-old singer has been arrest by the police authorities from Mabolo Police Station in Cebu City after guesting on the “Pusuan Mo si Vice Ganda Sa Cebu” concert of “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda.
On August 31, 2017, Cebu City Regional Trial Court (RTC) released its decision to dismiss the sexual assault case against Belleza after the complainant decided to dismiss the rape charges.
Recently, according to PEP.ph, Belleza denied that there is no out-of-court settlement that happened over the dismissal of the sexual assault case filed against him.
The latter explained that the judge dismissed the case for the complainant did not attend the hearings and said that doesn’t want to use his own money for the settlement if it really happens.
“Kung may settlement man, kasi [kung] pera ko ang gagamitin, ayoko,” said by Belleza quoted by PEP.
Belleza also said God answered his prayers and explained that there’s no problem that we can’t overcome. He also said that he will be more careful on trusting people.
