Actual Video Footage Of Magnitude 7.1 Earthquake In Mexico Goes Viral Online
Here is the live footage of the terrifying magnitude 7.1 earthquake collapsing buildings and killing at least 149 people in Mexico.
On Wednesday (September 20, 2017 – Philippine Time), Central Mexico has been shaken by a magnitude 7.1 earthquake taking the lives of at least 149 people after several buildings have collapsed due to the powerful tremor.
The Sept 20 quake came nearly two weeks after another strong quake devastated the southern part of Mexico leaving at least 90 dead.
Rescuers immediately responded and listening to the people’s voice from the rubble. They were also prioritizing to rescue trapped victims and give them immediate medical attention.
The head of the national Civil Defense agency Luis Felipe Puente wrote on his Twitter post that 55 people died in Morelos state South of Mexico, 49 people in the capital, 32 nearby Puebla State, which is the center of the quake, 10 people died in the State of Mexico, and three were killed in Guerrero state.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) explained that the epicenter of the quake was located in Atencingo in Puebla state, around 76 miles south-east of Mexico City, and struck at a depth of 32 miles. The geological agency also warned the resident of possible aftershocks.

Recently, the Facebook page “La Vida de Mexico” has uploaded the actual video footage of the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that shook Mexico.
In the video, it can be seen that the woman inside her room was screaming in fear as the objects inside the room start to violently move due to the strong tremor. The one who’s taking the video was also a little bit nervous while trying to calm the woman.
The video has already garnered over 28 million views, 76k reactions, 39, 784 shares, and 19k comments as of this writing.
