Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar To Check Mocha Uson’s Prohibition To Enter Casino Bar
Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar will check the prohibition of Mocha Uson from entering casino bar, where she was performing regularly.
Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson allegedly violated the order of the government that prohibits public officials to enter casinos. Uson usually goes to Resorts World Manila casino and regularly performs at the bar.
The former lead singer of Mocha Girls usually goes to casinos to perform despite Malacañang has issued a Memorandum Circular prohibiting public servants from entering Casinos.
On Thursday (September 07, 2017), Andanar said that will look into the issue since his Assistant Secretary is involved since Malacañang urges PCOO officials to comply with the prohibitions.
However, Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella gives the authority to Andanar in addressing the issue but reminded him as head of a government agency to impose appropriate sanctions and penalties for violators.
“From the Palace point of view, [the] policy needs to be complied with. But in this matter, it needs to be properly vetted,” said by Abella quoted by Rappler.
“That will have to be a matter to be settled by the PCOO,” added by Abella distancing from the issue and leaving the matter to Andanar.
An anonymous source from the Palace said that Andanar is aware of Uson’s gig in different bars and performances in casinos, but the details were still unclear.
