Filipino Comedian Pooh Opens Lechon Stall In QC

The 42-year-old Filipino comedian Pooh has opened a Lechon Stall, his newest food business at a food park in Quezon City.

Reynold Garcia or popularly known as Pooh is a Filipino actor, comedian, host, impersonator, and a singer. He was known for impersonating the Filipino boxing superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and started to be featured in different TV shows and movie projects.

Pooh has been dubbed as the best male standup comedian on Aliw Award for the 2006 and 2007. In 2013, he became a part of the comedy show entitled “Banana Split” and doing skits and impersonation on the show.

Lechon Stall

 

Recently, the comedian shows his food business named “Gara’s Lechon Bacolod,” which can be found on one of the foot stalls in Yarda Food Hub at Kingpoints Subdivision, Brgy. Bagbag, Novaliches in Quezon City.

The 42-year-old impersonator revealed that he was a fan of lechon especially the one in Bacolod. He also said that Gara came from the initials of his business partners including some celebrities.

“Matagal na akong fan ng lechon. Gustong-gusto ko talaga ng lechon. Gustong-gusto ko siyempre (ang lechon) ng Bacolod. Yung Gara, galing ‘yan sa initials ng mga ka-partners ko,” said by Pooh quoted by ABS-CBN.

Lechon Stall

Garcia also revealed that the actress Karla Estrada is one of his friends who helped him a lot in his food business. He said that Estrada was the one who helped to finish the roofing of his food stall.

However, Estrada said that she was happy to help her friends especially on Pooh who wanted to start a business for his own good.
