The Filipino actor Gerald Anderson admits that he is afraid of losing his popularity as a celebrity because it helps a lot on his personal and professional life.

Gerald Randolph Anderson Jr. is a Filipino-American actor and brand ambassador who started his career in the showbiz industry after joining the first season of “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition,” and has been named as Third Big Placer.

Since then, Anderson has been featured and starred different television series including “Sana Maulit Muli,” “My Girl,” “Tayong Dalawa,” and numerous TV shows. He has been also featured in different movie projects.

Recently, the 28-year-old actor admitted that he was afraid to lose his popularity as one of the most prominent actors of his generation. He said that his popularity in the showbiz industry helped him a lot both in his personal and professional life.

The actor said that there are always fears, but he was looking it as his motivation to do better. He also revealed that he might not good enough or suitable for the roles given to him, which was some of his obstacles in showbiz.

In 2009, Anderson realized that acting is the thing he wants to do for the rest of his life. His realization came while he was making the TV series “Tayong Dalawa.”

Meanwhile, the actor was also hoping that “AWOL” his movie entry for Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino could have a sequel. Anderson also said that he was dreaming to produce his own film someday, according to PEP.ph
