Vic Sotto, Dawn Zulueta Together Again For MMFF 2017 Entry
The Filipino actor Vic Sotto and the actress Dawn Zulueta will work together again after two decades for their entry on Metro Manila Film Festival 2017.
The two will work again together for the movie project entitled “Meant To Beh – Ika-Something na Utos,” which will be their entry for MMFF 2017. The last movie of Sotto and Zulueta together was “Okey Ka Fairy Ko!” in 1995, wherein they play the role of Enteng and Faye.
Sotto also said that he and Dawn underwent through a lot of things. Zulueta also expressed her excitement on their upcoming reunion of her former leading man and reminisced their funny moments on their previous movie projects.
Kapuso stars such as Andrea Torres, Ruru Madrid, and Gabbi Garcia were also included in the upcoming movie. The cute Dabarkads Baeby Baste will also portray the role as the son of Vic Sotto and Dawn Zulueta.
The 63-year-old comedian also expressed his opinion regarding the controversy of mixing the mainstream movies and indie films in the Metro Manila Film Festival. Last year, Sotto’s entry “Enteng Kabisote 10” was not included on the MMFF 2016.
“I definitely agree with the rules for this year to accommodate everyone. Personally, I don’t look at it that way na heto indie, heto mainstream. Para sa akin puro Filipino films yan eh,” said by Sotto quoted by GMA.
