Recently, the Manila International Airport Authority has recovered the jewelry box owned by the wife of Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, which was stolen by the baggage loaders of Miascor Ground Handling Corp.

The authorities recovered ten pieces of jewelry, which was stolen by the suspects from Hulya Cavusoglu, the wife of Turkish foreign minister during their flight back home from NAIA-Terminal 1. The couple arrived in Manila last week to attend the 50th Associate of Southeast Asian Nations Ministerial Meeting.

The jewelry box stole by the four NAIA baggage loaders contains an Escada while gold ring, gold bracelet, two rings with pearls and diamond, and three sets of pearl earrings.

Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) general manager Ed Monreal identified the suspects as John Andrews Racoma, Yves Ronald Baguion, Wilson Mataganas, and a man identified as Alfaro.

Monreal said that the jewelry box was recovered after they conduct an investigation on the lockers of the suspects. Alfaro has also admitted that they stole the jewelry box from Hulya.
