Jho Cabagyo Loses Thousands Of Pesos In Locked Checked-In Luggage

A netizen named Jho Cabagyo loses a large amount of cash from his locked checked-in luggage at one of the popular airlines in the country.

Nowadays, we can hear a lot of reports about plane passengers complaining about missing items from their luggage at the airport. The authorities have also warned all the passengers to be more aware of their surroundings especially when luggage enters the conveyor belt.

Recently, a Facebook user named Jho Cabagyo shared how he and her lost thousands of pesos from their locked checked-in luggage at the Philippine Airlines (PAL). The couple was so disappointed on what they have experience at the airline.

Cabagyo decided to return to the Philippines from Singapore to surprise the mother of her girlfriend on its 60th birthday. The couple did not experience any delays and thought that they have a great trip all in all, but they were disappointed after something unexpected happened at the airport.

Jho shared that they have four suitcases, which undergoes from the conveyor belt. The couple was able to quickly get the three of their suitcases, but the fourth one took about 10 minutes before it comes out from the conveyor.

His girlfriend noticed that the padlock of their luggage was gone and found that their money was already missing. He did not mention how much they lost, but they lost thousands of pesos.

The couple immediately reported the incidents at the airline’s baggage assistance counter, but they were only neglected by some personnel and told to wait as a part of their procedure. The airport’s staff only entertained them when he said that he would take it to the media.

The airline personnel told the couple that they will contact them once the result of the investigation is generated.

Pauwi kami to suprise my mom kasi mg 60th bday nia. We usually go for singapore airline kaso sobra mahal ng fare so we decide to take PAL. Everything went well, no delays, ok nmn the whole flight. Just when were waiting sa mga bagahe namin. May 4 kami malate. Since na Business Class kami kaya mabilis lumabas maleta namin pero 3 lang we waited for more than 10 mins dun sa isa nmin malate. Nung nakita ng GF ko yun malate itinuro nya sakin para kunin ko. And with our suprise wala yun podlock nia. So my instict tell me to check it. And yes bukas yun zipper sa loob ng malate nmin and nawawala yun pera nakalagay dun. Were not talking about hundreds, but thousands.And even kahit piso siguro why the hell mawawala ang pera kung wala kukuha. So lumapit kami sa baggage assistance to seek for help. Pero di nila kami nieentertain until i shout at them. Sabi nila mam ang tangi lang po namin magagwa ay gumawa ng report about sa incidence. Kasi meron po procedure for that. Ako, kami as nawalan, oo meron procedure pero gusto nmin malaman bkit me ganto nangyayari nakawan sa loob ng airport. I even ask for manager on duty pero wala. Parang deadma lang. Pero nung sinsabi ko papalakihin ko to at imemedia ko to they start asking na. Keso ano po nawala.? San po nakalagay? Etc etc. Tinimbang ang bags. Gumawa ng report at kokontakin na lng daw kami ngg claim department ng PHILIPPINE AIRLINE. I said no.. gusto ko ng sagot right now. Not tomorrow but today. Pero they keep insisting meron procedure… sa mga tao nghahanap buhay sa malayong lugar, malayo sa pamilya, pag uwi mo sa sarili bayan. Tatarantaduhin ka pa ng kapwa mo. Hindi naman tama..
Gladly the airport police naawa samin, ang check the CCTV. And it shows yun last bag nmin ay naiwan for more than 10 mins at di na abot sa CCTV nila. HAWAK NA daw ng PAL.
Sa PAL na kami makipag coordinate. Ang hirap yun ipag tuturuturuan ka nila. At kaht gusto namin ng sagot wala kami nakuha.

PHILIPPINE AIRLINE, Its so disappoiting na meron ganto pangyayari and and worst wala kami makuha sagot from you! Nakakadala na sumakay sa inyo. At sana bago kayo nag hihire ng tao nyo o mga tao na iuupo nyo sa posisyon sa management pakituruan ng good manners at matutungsumagot ng ayos. Alam namin na madaming naka expirence ng ganito pero di naglalakas ng loob magsalita,

Siguro kasalanan namin, sasabhin nio bakit nasa maleta ang pera nmin, pero hindi ba mas malaking kasalanan, at malaking question yun bakit nawawalan ng gamit, pera ang mga tao!
