OFW Isidro P. Lacupanto Turns Into Beggar In Riyadh

An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in named Isidro P. Lacupanto turns into a beggar in Riyadh after his employers did this to him.

OFWs are facing a tough and difficult life working abroad just to provide the financial needs of their family and also to give them a better life in the future. Most of them were forced to leave the country due to lack of opportunities.

The sacrifices of the Filipino workers abroad can’t be measured for giving up their own comfort and happiness just to earn a large amount of cash for their families.

OFW

Unfortunately, there are some OFWs who were struggling with their cruel and rude employers who were abusing them. Here is another story of an OFW who becomes a beggar after his employer threw him out.

A Facebook user named Azumi Chan has uploaded a video of an OFW named Isidro P. Lacupanto who becomes a beggar after his employer in Saudi Arabia suddenly threw him out after declining his employer’s offer.

Lacupanto has ended his 2-year contract as a driver of his employer in Saudi Arabia and excited to go back again in the Philippines. However, his employer asked him to stay for at least one more year, but he refused to accept the offer for he was too tired.

OFW

The OFW said that he was too tired to perform his job where he arrives at their home around 3 am and has to get up 6 am in the morning to take his employers to work and their kids in school.

The employer asked him to stay for one more month so they can buy his ticket back to the Philippines. The Pinoy worker accepted the offer so that he could return to the Philippines. After a month, he was suddenly picked up by the policemen and jailed for about 21 days for an unknown reason.

When Lacupanto got out of jail, he quickly went to the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) for help, but due to countless OFWs asking for help at the embassy he decided to ask for alms in Riyadh.
