Daniel Padilla surprises Jona Soquite.
JONA SOQUITE – The Voice Teens grand champion Jona Soquite got an unexpected surprise from the Teen King Daniel Padilla.
The 14-year-old singer Jona Soquite is the first ever champion of The Voice Teens, the first ever edition of the competition for that matter.
On the Monday episode of the morning talk show of the Kapamilya Magandang Buhay, hosted by Jolina Magdangal, Karla Estrada, and Melai Cantiveros is where Jona received the surprise.
Upon her guest interview, she was asked if who is her ‘crush’. Though she never wanted to admit, the team of the said talk show seemed to have done a research and found out that it is the Teen King Daniel Padilla.
Thus, a video from Daniel Padilla was shown to her and the thrill and excitement into her face are really evident while watching his crush giving a message to her.
Daniel Padilla told her, “Hi Jona, unang una, gusto lang kita i-congratulate dahil ikaw ang nanalo sa ‘The Voice.’ Sana soon ay magkita tayo saan man. Excited na akong makilala ka. God bless and good luck sa ‘yo.”
The curve of a smile on her lips was stuck like it has been glued but she was able to respond and her response is, “Thank you kuya sa pag-take ng time na gumawa ng video. Ingat ka parati, sana magkita tayo.”
She shared that what she liked most about the actor is that he is just so ‘cool’ whenever she watch him on television.
According to the report of the ABS-CBN News, aside from the message, Daniel Padilla also sent her a bowl of fruit salad.
“Ito ‘yung pinaka-favorite ko. Sa birthday ko, kahit walang masyadong handa, basta may fruit salad. Mahilig ako sa prutas,” the young singer explained.
