Australian Boxer Jeff Horn Starts Training For Possible Rematch Against Pacman
The Australian boxer Jeff Horn has already started his training for his possible rematch with Manny Pacquiao although it was yet to be finalized.
Previously, the controversial Pacquiao-Horn match has been the headlines of the new not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world after the Australian champion won over Filipino boxing icon.
The undefeated boxer was declared as the new Welterweight Champion after the judges announced Horn’s victory via unanimous decision. The judges’ decisions draw flak from boxing fans and sports fanatics all over the world for their alleged bias scoring.
However, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has accepted the judges’ decision although he was thinking that the scores and result of the match have been manipulated. The Pinoy boxer also wanted to have a rematch against Horn.
Recently, there are some reports that the 29-year-old Horn has already started his training to get in shape for his possible rematch with Pacman. The Australian boxer is now more determined to beat Pacman on the second time.
“I’m happy for a rematch, especially after all the flak I received before the second scoring came out. Now it’s out, I still receive people saying I didn’t win. I’m willing to prove it again and beat him for the second time,” said by Horn quoted by Philstar.
The Philippine senator was reportedly working with Bob Arum of Top Rank Inc. to get back at Horn in a rematch on November either in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. He also confirmed that he will not yet retire.
Arum is now looking for the exact date for the possible Pacquiao-Horn rematch considering the schedule of Pacman as a lawmaker in the country.
Meanwhile, Horn said that he got to make that he train just hard as he can, to end the fight before the 12th round if possible. He also said that he can improve a lot and believes that he can do his best performance on their possible rematch.
