Photos Of Escalator In Robinson’s Place Bacolod That Suddenly Gave Up Goes Viral Online
The photo of an escalator in Robinson’s Place Bacolod, which suddenly gave due to unknown reason goes viral after it was posted in the social media.
An escalator is moving staircase, which is used to transport between floors of a building or an establishment. It usually consists of a motor-driven chain of individually linked steps, which enables people to stand while moving upstairs or downstairs.
This modern staircase is now very popular not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It can be usually found in airports, shopping malls, department stores, arenas, stadiums, hotel, and other buildings.
The Facebook page “tagabacolod” has uploaded a photo of a mall escalator in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, which suddenly gave up for an unknown reason. The mall was identified as Robinson’s Place Bacolod wherein a lot of shoppers were shocked by the incident.
In the photo, it can be seen that the escalator was severely damaged after it gave up probably due to malfunction. The photos garnered different reactions from the netizens saying that the escalator was not properly checked.
Some social media users that escalators and elevators should be regularly checked for maintenance purposes. Some netizens also stressed out that the mall should prioritize the safety of the shoppers and preferred to walk on stairs instead of riding an escalator.
