Generous Citizen Donates Medical Equipment Amount P10M To AFP Medical Center Right After Duterte’s Second SONA
AFP Medical Center has received a machine amounting P10 million from a generous citizen right after watching the second SONA of President Duterte.
On Monday (July 24, 2017), President Rodrigo Duterte has delivered his speech for his second State of the Nation Address (SONA). He discussed a lot of topics including the lapses of facilities and equipment in AFP Medical Center.
A Facebook user named Tinton Deveza has donated a medical equipment called Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber” amounting more than P10 million. He donated the machine to the AFP Medical Center right after Duterte’s second SONA.
In the post of Deveza, he explained that Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber works greatly in healing gangrene and in the post-amputation procedure, which could be a great help for the Filipino soldiers who have been injured in battles.
Deveza also wrote on his post that r. Jojo of V. Luna Hospital would know how to operate the medical equipment. He also said that he will be glad if President Duterte would accept his donation and he joked that the man in the photo inside the chamber is not included in the donation.

President Duterte in his SONA narrated: Addressing the AFP Medical Hospital, “Do you have a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber in this hospital? It works wonders in healing gangrene and in post-amputation procedure …”
Mr. President, I am hereby donating to AFP Medical Facility this state-of-the-art HYPERBARIC OXYGEN CHAMBER for the use of our soldiers who have been wounded in wars. Dr. Jojo, your doctor at V. Luna Hospital would know how to operate it. (This chamber was worth over P10 Million.)
Mr. President Duterte, kindly accept this humble donation. My family and I would be overjoyed when you accept it.
(May I ask Menchu Abada or Willie Torres na ipa–abot etong donation na eto to Pres. Duterte thru your connections. Btw, the man inside the chamber is not included in the donation.)”
The generous man garnered praises and admirations from the social media users for his concern and kindness for the brave Filipino soldiers who were putting their life at risk just to serve the country.
