Akyat-bahay sneakily breaks into a shop and steal valuables while people are sleeping was caught on CCTV footage and goes viral online.
Nowadays, the rate of criminality was increasing rapidly not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. Robbery is one of the most common crimes recorded by the authorities, which raises the concern of the public.
Thieves who sneakily breaking into the houses or properties to steal valuable possessions has been dubbed as “Akyat-Bahay”. These thieves usually attacking establishments in the urban cities wherein the population is much thicker compared to rural area.
CCTV footage might not prevent robbery cases, but it can help the establishment owner to catch and record the act of burglary inside the building premises. Here is another CCTV footage of an akyat-bahay breaking into a shop.
A Facebook user named Chuck Alpajaro has uploaded a video of a man who breaks and entered into a shop while the employees are sleeping. The culprit successfully performed the robbery without disturbing the people inside the shop.
In the video, it can be seen that an unidentified man sneakily enters the shop even though the employees were sleeping there. The thief also uses his flashlight to see what he was stealing. After stealing valuables, the thief immediately ran away.

Alpajaro, the store owner said that the thief stole 2 cellular phones, a bag without anything inside, sticker-making material, and bluetooth speaker. Despite the robbery, he was thankful that no one was hurt, for he is sure that the thief has a lethal weapon.
The video immediately goes viral after it was posted in the social media. The viral video has already garnered over 23k views, 30 reactions, 2 shares, and 7 comments as of this writing.
