ABS-CBN Corporation Chief Content Officer and Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) host Charo Santos-Concio was spotted in the latest episode of ABS-CBN top-rating series, “La Luna Sangre.”
Her brief appearance on the primetime series, although only her photo was seen, made a buzz online resulting in a spot on Twitter trending topics.
In the July 14 episode of La Luna Sangre which stars with Daniel Padilla-Kathryn Bernardo, veteran actor Albert Martinez introduced himself as as Professor Theodore Montemayor, the head of the Moonchasers.
Professor Theodore Montemayor has dedicated his life to studying vampires. According to him, there are vampires who already have a position in the government.
Professor T then showed a picture of Ms. Charo Santos-Concion when he mentioned that one of them is “isang kilalang Senator.”
“Kaya pala ang tagal na ng show niya sa TV,” a Moonchasers member then quipped.
Based on an article of PEP.ph, the ABS-CBN executive then went to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she made light of her brief appearance on the series by posting a photo of her along with John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual.
“Confirmed!! Ginawa po akong bampira ni Mateo sa harap ni Noah!! #LaLunaSangre #LaLunaSangreMiyo #throwback,” she noted in the accompanying caption on the photo.
Mateo is the vampire character of John Lloyd Cruz in Imortal while Noah is the character of Piolo Pascual in Lobo, both are the second and first sequel of La Luna Sangre.
Meanwhile, the 62-year-old actress-host is currently gearing up for her second Lav Diaz film. She made recognition earlier over 2016 movie entitled Ang Babaeng Humayo, which earned her a Golden Lion award at the prestigious 73rd Venice Film Festival.
