Ariana Grande To Become Honorary Citizen, Manchester Officials Says

Ariana Grande is about to become an honorary citizen due to her response to the explosion during her concert last May 2017, according to Manchester officials.

Previously, Manchester Arena in Manchester, England has been bomber right after the concert of the U.S pop singer Ariana Grande. About 250 people were injured, 59 got hospitalized, and 23 people were critically injured.

The bomb explosion was set by a suicide bomber who detonated the improvised explosive device and killed people who were only 20 meters away. The culprit was identified as Salman Abedi who killed around 22 people on May 22, 2017, after the concert of Grande.

Around 14, 200 people attended the concert of the American pop star and some of them got injured by the incident.

Manchester officials said that they are making the U.S pop singer Ariana Grande as an honorary citizen because of her caring response on the blasts victims.

City council leader Richard Leese described the 23-year-old singer as a woman who would have been understandable if she never wanted to see the place of incident anymore. Instead, she wanted to bring comfort and raise millions of dollars as emergency funds for the blasts victims.
