Video footage Of People’s Reaction During Leyte Quake On Monday Exposed

On Monday morning (July 10, 2017), a magnitude 5.4 quake has struck again the province of Leyte after it was rocked by a magnitude 6.4 tremor four days ago.

Ormoc City in the province of Leyte has been struck again by another powerful tremor after it was shaken by a magnitude 6.5 earthquake last week. The quake has prompted the people went into panic due to fear.

Earlier, there are some reports stating that several areas in the Visayas such as Leyte, Cebu, Ormoc, and Negros Oriental, Bohol, and San Pedro of the Eastern Visayas have felt the powerful tremor in the region.

Leyte

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has reported that the quake was recorded around 9:45 am and its epicenter is in Ormoc. The magnitude 5.4 quake on Monday was only an aftershock of stronger tremor last week.

The vehicles in the streets were clogged as people panics and run out to the streets seeking for a safer place. 24 students were rushed to a medical center in the city due to hyperventilation, while some people were already crying in fear.

Leyte

On July 07, 2017, advised the public to stay calm and call a meeting to all city officials to discuss a rehabilitation plan due to the devastating quake.

Meanwhile, a Facebook user named Cathy Ig-Agao Pabganiban was able to video record the earthquake incident while she was in EDC- Leyte Geothermal Production Field in Tongonan, Leyte.

In the video, it can be seen that the employees of the company are going out of the building for their own safety. The workers were calmly walking heading out of the vicinity, showing that they are well-trained for this types of incidents.
