Qatar has rejected the sanctions to be imposed by the four countries after it refused to bow to their ultimatum to end the crisis.

On Friday (July 07, 2017), Qatar has rejected the threat of four siege countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain to impose penalties on the besieged country after it refused to bow to an ultimatum in ending the crisis in the nation.

The beleaguered country has also called the demands of the 4 nations were already defamatory. It also said that it was contradicting the established foundations of international relations.

“The State of Qatar expressed regret over the content of the two statements issued in Cairo and Jeddah by the four siege countries and the false accusations included in them that amount to defamation in contradiction with the established foundations of international relations,” said in the statement quoted by ABS-CBN.

A source from the senior Foreign Ministry described allegations about Qatar’s financial support to terrorism and interference in internal affairs as baseless accusations

The official SPA news agency stated that the Arab Nations explained that Qatar’s rejection to the list of 13 demands is punishable on Doha. Political, economic, and legal measures will be taken in a right manner to maintain the stability, rights, and security of the four countries.

Previously, the four nations accused Qatar of funding the terrorist and reviving its ties with Iran. The beleaguered nation has also denied all the allegations and accusations against it.
