Jefrey Consumo’s Story Of Hard Work In Order To Attend School

Here is the inspiring story of Jefrey Consumo who worked hard to send himself to school.

JEFREY CONSUMO – Grade 7 student at Quipot National High School spotted to doing labor to earn money in order to send himself to school.

The story of this by was posted and shared by the Facebook page of  RMN Iloilo.

Just like how a very cliché line goes, “Education is the key to success.”

Seemingly, this is the line that motivates and drives Jefrey Consumo to work hard and earn money so that he could send himself to school and also help his family financially.

The post indicated that Jefrey is just on the 7th grade at the Quipot National High School. And in order to earn money he does labor.

He has six siblings and his family’s only source of income is planting banana. This state could normally be seen in the rural areas of the country to which others have said that life at such is hard.

These banana is what Jefrey lifts from their house to sell to other places. He endures the pain caused by the heavy bananas on his shoulder.

The photo shows the boy carrying bunches of banana tied at the either end of the bamboo stick that he placed on his shoulders.

Then, accordingly, the money from his selling is tend for his daily allowance in going to school.

Some of the people from the social media community who saw the post could relate to his situation for they have also gone through similar condition.

Education is truly an essential in this contemporary world to reach success. Just so then, the knowledge and skills acquired from attending the academy for years will open a lot of doors of opportunities for growth in terms of career that would eventually lead to positive growth in life.
