2-Day Deadline Extension Given By Arab Nations To Qatar To End Crisis
A group of Arab nations gives Qatar another 2-day extension on the deadline, which is enough to put an end to the crisis.
On Monday (July 03, 2017), was supposed to be the deadline of Qatar to end the crisis, but the group of Arab nations has extended the deadline. The groups who extended the Qatar deadline are Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Bahrain.
On Wednesday (July 05, 2017), the Arab nations will meet in Cairo to discuss their next moves as the deadline of Qatar expires. The crisis in Qatar started last June 05, 2017 as some Arab nations cut off their diplomatic ties with Qatar.
Qatar has been accused using the wealth to fund the extremist group and allegedly warm their ties to Iran, but it denied all the allegations and said that it maintains their communication with Iran as they share a massive offshore of the natural gas field.
Kuwait’s 88-year-old ruler, Sheikh Sabah Al Sabah gives Qatar a deadline until Monday, but the countries give another 48-hours to end the crisis.
“The response of the four states will then be sent following the study of the Qatari government’s response and (–foul word(s) removed–)sment of its response to the whole demands,” said by the countries quoted by Philstar.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that the four countries will meet in Cairo on Wednesday to discuss the actions in dealing with Qatar and to evaluate the regional and international contacts existing in the connection.
