The Gong Yoo look-alike of fast-food giant KFC in Manila is looking for his look-alike bride.
A competition was recently launched by the fast-food chain via social networking site, Facebook to find the look-alike of Ji Eun-Tak or Erin, played by Korean actress Kim Go-Eun, the bride of Goblin.
Earlier, a photo of a KFC crew became viral online as netizens figured resemblance of the worker with Korean star Gong Yoo, who plays the role of Kim Shin on top-rating Korean drama series, “Goblin: The Lonely and Great God.”
While some tagged their friends who are fans of Goblin, others dare to look for the guy in the picture to see if there’s a “sword” stuck in his chest – as depicted on the award-winning K-drama series.
Meanwhile, according to Inquirer.net, the winner who will be chosen as the look-alike of Goblin’s Bride will get P5,000 worth of KFC gift certificates and a photo-op with the Filipino look-alike of Gong Yoo.
Goblin centers on the story of Kim Shin (Gong Yoo), a general who was killed by the order of the king and was resurrected, possessing an immortal life.
Kim Shin has been living for more than 900 years already. He hopes to find his bride, in the person of Ji Eun-TakErin (Kim Go-Eun), who will break the curse which made him immortal.
However, a Grim Reaper (Lee Dong-Wook), who’s tasked to reap lost souls came to take the soul of his bride, who was supposed to die in the accident which killed her mom.
