Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters attacked school Of Pigcawayan, North Cotabato.
NORTH COTABATO – Suspected Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) attacked school of the Pigcawayan in North Cotabato.
According to the news report of the Bombo Radyo, based on the initial report given by the chief of police of Pigcawayan Philippine National Police (PNP), Chief Inspector Reylan Mamon, it was around as early as 5:45 in the morning when they received the information.
The information they have received was the suspected BIFF attacked the school of Barangay Malagakit. They do not have yet the details as to the exact numbers of the assailants.
Residents, upon the attack, went to evacuate to the municipal compound.
However, there were residents who got trapped due to firefight that surface between the troops that went for rescue and the militants.
