“I am not in any way connected to or related to the Mautes of Marawi City and Lanao del Sur,” said by Bayabao quoted by Inquirer.

Bayabao believed that his name was included in the list because he used to work as the city engineer of Marawi City before he was assigned as the provincial director of TESDA last year.

TESDA’s provincial director said that he served Marawi City’s former mayors Fahad Salic and Solitario Ali when he was still the city engineer of Marawi. On June 07, 2017, Fahad Salic was arrested in Misamis Oriental, but both Ali and Salic denied involvement in the Marawi Siege.
