The video of a Maute group member singing a Maranao song, which signifies something, goes viral after it was posted in the social media.

Previously, the Maute terror group becomes the headlines of the countless news in the Philippines and even also abroad for attacking Marawi City and fighting the government troops after raiding the hideout of Abu Sayyaf leader Isnilon Hapilon.

The exchange of powerful and heavy gun fires between the Maute group and government forces have turned Marawi City into a chaotic scenery, which prompted President Rodrigo Duterte to declare martial law throughout the entire Mindanao to handle the situation.

97 percent of Marawi residents are Muslims, so the attack perpetrated by the Maute Terror Group brought confusion to the Filipinos.

Maute group also said that they were fighting in the name of “Jihad,” which signifies that each them must endure their struggles for the sake of religion for Allah. They were also seeking autonomous region for Muslims like their roots in the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

The Facebook page “Magodas Ako” has uploaded a video of a Maute group member singing an emotional Maranao song, which allegedly expressing his beliefs. Unfortunately, the language he used can’t be understood by the most of us.

According to the social media site “Trending News Portal” has explained the meaning of the song saying:

I’m so lucky that I will die Saheed (when a person dies during jihad) oh my parents, I’ll be living in paradise with the midadari (woman in paradise) don’t heal my wounds and place my firearms beside me, oh father just forgive (me.)”

The video goes viral after it was posted online last Saturday (May 27, 2017). The viral video garnered 48k views, 356 reactions, 917 shares, and 209 comments as of this post.
