Solicitor General Jose Calida Failed To Submit DTR

A netizen accused Solicitor General Jose Calida as a ghost employee for receiving a full salary even he failed to submit his Daily Time Record (DTR).

The social media site “Pinoyakoblog” shared a post of an unnamed netizen who slammed and accused Sol. Gen. Jose Calida as a ghost employee. The netizen said that Calida fully received his salary last year even without submitting his DTR.

COA said that Calida has no daily time records and weekly monitoring sheets for the year 2016. The netizen also said that how can government determine if he is absent or late if he even fails to use biometrics for attendance purposes.

The netizen also quoted the statement of Commission on Audit (COA) on the OSG employees regarding the violation of government policies on work hours.

“COA said the OSG employees violated several government policies concerning work hours, including Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 21, Executive Order No. 292, and Memorandum Circular No. 3 of the Office of the President issued on August 8, 2016,” said by the unnamed netizen quoted by Pinoyakoblog.

He also emphasized that Calida as a lawyer should respect the rules and regulations implemented by the government.

COA also noted that OSG receives 30, 444 cases adding to the 333, 539 pending cases as of January 2016. The OSG only disposed of a total 28, 604 cases.

The netizen also questioned Calida belonging to the best and brightest but got disappointed upon the solicitor general’s actions.
