Filipinos Will Take 5 Decades To Get Another Duterte, US President Donald Trump Says
The 45th US President Donald Trump said that Filipinos will take around five decades to get another wise man like President Duterte.
Donald Trump is a former businessman and TV personality before entering politics and becomes the 45th president of the United States. At the age of 70-year-old, Trump won the victory on US elections joining the political party ‘Republican’.
Trump has been compared with the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte because of their similarities in personality, attitude, demeanor, and leadership. Previously, the US President also expressed his support to Duterte on his anti-illegal drug campaign.
The US President said that Duterte can take Filipino from grass into grace and described him as a good leader. He also said that losing Duterte will take Philippines 50 years to get someone who is hardworking, passionate, intelligent, and strong president like Duterte.
The members of the Liberal Party (LP) were also asked by Trump to set aside their self-interests and serve the Filipino people. There are some reports stating that some LP members want to impeach Duterte thinking that they do better than him.
