LOVE ADVICE – A ‘Hugot Road’ was found in Negros Occidental where everyone would love to take a walk and have time to reflect in their respective romantic life.

As mentioned in the report made by the ABS-CBN News, the said road was found at the Barangay Patag in Silay City of Negros Occidental.

Hugot is Filipino term which literally means ‘to draw’ in English but as time goes by it was given a connotative meaning by the Pinoys and that is ‘deeply emotional’.

Several signages found along the road is actually about the environment but then again, those who could read it and understands it, for it was written in Hiligaynon (native language), could not help but give it a double meaning in love.

Love has indeed been an all-time favorite topic of everyone.

Here are some of the Hugots that can be found:

“Indi gid magpati sa iya gha. Basura ya gani pabay-an ya, ikaw pa aihan?”

(Huwagkang maniwala sa kanya. Basura nya nga napabayaan nya ikaw pa kaya?)

Love is indeed just around the corner.  But, let’s also love our environment.

Love can always wait but the to repair the environment from its destruction won’t wait.

So, make a move now, not to your love, but a move to save the environment before everything gets too late.
