Floyd Mayweather Ready To Buy His Own NBA Franchise

The retired boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. said that he wanted to purchase his own NBA team for he is a big basketball fan.

The 40-year-old undefeated boxing icon seems to prepare to invest and put his money to good use. He also posted a photo on his Instagram account. The photo shows Mayweather while shaking hands with the NBA legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson.

Mayweather’s Instagram photo has a caption of “Just had a great meeting with @magicjohnson. It’s about time for me to buy an NBA team. If you’re ready to sell your NBA team, please get in touch with me.”

The undefeated boxing icon is now one of the richest athletes in sports. He earned around $700 million in his career during his two decades in sports. There are also some reports stating that Mayweather bagged over $200 million after beating the Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao last 2015.

Previously, Mayweather won stacks of dollars by betting on the NBA player Isaiah Thomas after Boston Celtic beats Washington Wizards. The former boxing champion 40 individual stacks of $10, 000 each, which is amounting a total of $400, 000.
