BREAKING NEWS: Public School Teacher and Her 2 Daughters Arrested for Selling Shabu

A municipal-paid public school teacher and her two daughters were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Purok 8, Nabunturan in Compostella Valley for allegedly selling shabu.

According to the report of ABS-CBN News, the three suspected drug dealers ( Rocaya Mao, a public school teacher and her daughters Jhawerah, 23, and Jamira, 21,) were reportedly selling shabu in the province and even in Davao del Norte.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region XI stated that the family business of Rocaya Mao is onarcotics. However, they denied the speculations.

Mao teaches Arabic language to children in a public school in Compostella Valley while her daughter, Jamira, is a student of Alternative Learning System.

Authorities were able to retrieve at least six sachets of alleged shabu with an estimated street value of P6,000.

The suspects will be charged with the violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A. 9165).

Mao’s apprehension mark as the second drug operation in the province since the agency installed a provincial office in Compostella Valley.
