RGMA (Radio-GMA) president and “Saksi Sa Dobol B” anchor, Mike Enriquez, admitted in a press interview that DZBB is second only to ABS-CBN radio broadcasting station, DZMM.
In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal and other members of the press, the 65-year-old veteran broadcast journalist claimed that the No. 1 radio station in the country is not DZBB but DZMM.
“DZMM. Number one sila, number two kami. Sometimes, number one kami,” he said.
However, he told the press that there were instances that the AM radio stations deal a neck-and-neck battle, especially in ratings.
According to Mike Enriquez, DZMM and DZBB lead other radio stations in the country because most of their anchors are television personalities.
Mike Enriquez granted the interview along Arnold Clavio, Joel Reyes Zobel, and Ali Sotto to announce that starting April 24, 2017, their programs will be viewed on a free tv via GMA News TV.
Among the radio shows which will be aired on free tv from 6am to 11am are the following: Saksi sa Dobol B (Mike Enriquez), Super Balita sa Umaga Nationwide (Mike and Joel Reyes Zobel), Sino? (Arnold Clavio, Ali Sotto, at Mike) and Dobol A sa Dobol B (Arnold andAli).
