Kris Aquino to Star in the Hollywood Movie Adaptation of “Crazy Rich Asians”

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is purported to portray the role of a South East Asian princess in the Hollywood movie adaptation of “Crazy Rich Asians.”

According to Inquirer.net, the 46-year-old actress-host will be playing the character of either a Malaysian or Bruneian princess.

The so-called movie adaptation which will be produced by Warner Brothers is one of the masterpieces of Singapore-based author Kevin Kwan.

Kris Aquino reportedly went to Los Angeles on Easter Sunday for a contract signing with the producers of the movie.

Aside from Kris Aquino, Malaysian superstar Michelle Yeoh will also join the powerhouse cast of the movie.

The storyline of Crazy Rich Asians is based on the life story of Nick Young, an Ivy-League educated heir of Singaporean family’s wealth.

The Hollywood movie adaptation of the prominent novel will be directed by famous director Jon Chu who is popular with his movies such as “Step Up” and “G.I. Joe.”

“At this particular point in my life, to have the Hollywood door open is God-sent,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Meanwhile, netizens took to social media to express their congratulation regarding the actress’ inclusion in the Hollywood movie.
