Scientist Discovers How To Directly Feed Knowledge Into The Human Brain
The researchers have already discovered how to directly upload knowledge into the human brain to teach them new skills instantly.
Uploading knowledge into the human brain looks like just a sci-fi classic, which could soon take effort as falling asleep, according to some scientists. Researchers said that they have developed a simulator that can be used to directly feed details and information into the person’s brain.
People could learn new skills for a shorter period of time and could learn things instantly, comparing it to life-imitating-art. Scientists believe that this simulator could be a stepping stone in developing an advanced software that can make Matrix-style into a reality.
In the neo-noir sci-fi classic, the protagonist Neo learn kung fu in seconds after the martial art was directly uploaded to his brain. The researchers from HRL Laboratories, based in California said that they have discovered a new way to amplify learning on a smaller scale rather than seen in the Hollywood film.
The scientists said that their study shows that when the electric signals in the brain of a trained pilot were transferred to novice subjects via electrode-embedded head caps enhances their piloting abilities compared to other students.
“The particular task we were looking at was piloting an aircraft, which requires a synergy of both cognitive and motor performance. When you learn something, your brain physically changes. Connections are made and strengthened in a process called neuroplasticity,” explained by Dr. Matthew Phillips quoted by trendingpamore.
Phillips also explained that the brain functions such as memory and speech were the specific regions targeted by their simulation system to improve the learning abilities of the human brain.
