The faces of the two “Ang Probinsyano” actors can be seen on a rice field in Maligaya, Science City of Munoz drew by PhilRice. The rice company used a Korean purple rice variety to draw the facial details such as eyes, mouth, and nose of the two actors. While the green leafed rice variety served as the canvas for the artwork.

PhilRice’s rice paddy art raises awareness campaign called “FutureRice program,” which promotes farming and agriculture among the new generation. Previously, the rice company also drew the faces of President Duterte, VP Robredo, and Jose Rizal using the same technique.
