Some Areas In Luzon Felt A Magnitude 5.9 Earthquake
A magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits several areas in Luzon around 3:09 pm on Saturday (April 08, 2017) and expecting more aftershocks.
On Saturday, a magnitude 5.9 earthquake strikes Luzon, which frightened netizens for the possible aftershocks. Social media users reported that the powerful tremors were felt in Batangas, Metro Manila, Zambales, Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, and Talaga, Calabarzon.
The tremor was detected 1km SSW of Talaga, Calabarzon. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has yet to issue a report regarding the powerful tremor felt in Luzon.
Also, Mindoro was struck by a magnitude 5.7 earthquake on Saturday afternoon. Do these earthquakes signifies the impending “Big One.”
