Government And DENR Help Asked By A Group To Stop Bataan Coal-Fired Power Plant Operations

A Group was seeking help from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and local government against Bataan Coal-Fired Power Plant.

The coal-fired power plant is a power station, which uses coals and other material burned to produce electricity. It might be a good source of energy, but it has numerous negative effects on the environment and people’s health.

The burning of coals to produce electricity can cause global warming, exposure to toxic chemicals, and air pollution. The ashes from this power plant can cause different kind of skin issues and respiratory diseases.
