VP Leni Robredo Should Be Impeached, DILG Assistant Secretary Says

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Assistant Secretary Epiaco Densing III said that VP Leni Robredo should be impeached.

Densing posted on his Facebook page the video of Vice President Robredo during the Annual meeting of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs in Vienna, Austria about the ‘Palit-ulo’ scheme allegedly done by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Extrajudicial Killing (EJK) with more than 7, 000 victims.

The DILG Asec. Explained that there were only more than 2, 500 victims killed during anti-narcotic operations, 1/3 of it were drug-related cases, and the remaining victims were due to unknown reason.

The anti-illegal drug campaign makes more than 1.1 million drug addict to surrender, including 80, 000 pushers and 48, 000 were arrested. The current administration was doing their best to resolve drug-related cases and reduce the crime rate in the country.

He said that VP Robredo together with other members of Liberal Party (LP) was trying to destabilize the Philippines with false propaganda using foreign media. They were accusing Duterte administration of its human rights violation for EJK incidents.

Densing also revealed that they lose P20 billion from Millennium Challenge Corporation, which could have been used for poverty program. He also said that the European Union threatens the Philippines to lose at least 27 trade agreement due to alleged human rights violation with Robredo’s video message.

The assistant secretary also accused VP Robredo of conniving with her companions to do economic sabotage. He also encouraged the Filipino to fight back and took back our integrity from those people, who destabilizing the country.

The DILG Ass. Sec. said that VP Robredo should be impeached and charged with economic sabotage for violating the Section 2 Article XI of the Constitution which is a “Betrayal of public trust.”
