Woman Selling Fake Concert Tickets Online Arrested In Pasay
On Wednesday afternoon (March 08, 2017), a woman in Pasay City was arrested by the authorities after selling fake concert tickets online.
Most of us love to watch concerts of our favorite artists or bands. Many people were trying their best just to buy expensive and high-cost concert tickets. But concert goers must be careful in purchasing concert tickets to avoid buying a fake one.
In Pasay City, a woman named Rosalie Nadado was arrested by the operatives from the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group in an entrapment operation. Nadado was arrested after selling fake concert tickets on the internet.
PNP-ACG Supt. Jay Guillermo said that a certain victim asked them for help after discovering that the ticket was fake, which she bought from Nadado. The victim discovered that the concert ticket was fake after checking the official Ticketnet website.
The modus operandi of the suspect were selling the concert tickets in the social media at a very low price in order to attract buyers. But, Nadado explained that she was not aware the ticket was fake and denied the accusations against her.
Nadado also explained that someone promised her an income of P1, 800 when she sells those concert tickets. The authorities seized the fake concert tickets amounting P6, 300 each and notebook with concert schedules. The fake concert ticket seller will face criminal charges for her actions.
