Atty. Bruce Rivera lambasted ‘Destabilizers’ in his open letter.
A well-known lawyer and prominent supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, Atty. Bruce Rivera took to Facebook and posted an open letter addressed to people whom he called the ‘Destabilizers.’
In the Facebook post of Rivera, he refused to call these people as the opposition because the real opposition respects the democratic process and will not undermine a duly-elected president.
Rivera lambasted these destabilizers by saying they have no right to be called as the opposition.
“It is an insult to all the honorable men who oppose institutions if I will call you one. You are enemies of Philippine democracy. You do not even deserve our compassion,” he wrote.
At the peak of Atty. Rivera’s emotional outburst, he warned these people if they continue to destabilize, he will pray to God just give their rewards.
“And yes, I am pleading directly to God because it seems the CBCP has taken your side. Because I do not want our President to be forced to declare martial law and take your bait.”
Rivera ended his open letter by saying, “Just rewards, my Lord. All I ask for. Just rewards.”

The Facebook post of Atty. Rivera has caught the attention of the netizens and earned different reactions.
Some of the social media users agreed to Rivera that the anti-Duterte folks are indeed leveling up their game in provoking the Philippine President to declare martial law.
Other netizens said that the politics in the Philippines is not healthy anymore because these destabilizers have become excessively indulgent.
“Yup, this is not healthy anymore, it is the presidency that they are up to. At ginagawa nila to kundi para maisalba ang mga sarili sa mga darating na panahon. Sobra na talaga, ndi na cla nkakatuwa , kinain n cla ng kasakiman at pagkagahaman,” netizen said.
