Maymay Entrata is the PBB Lucky 7 Big Winner.
19-year-old teen housemate, Maymay Entrata was announced as the “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7” big winner on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
Dubbed as the Wacky Go Lucky of Cagayan De Oro on the show, Maymay won over kisses Delavin, who placed second when it comes to viewer votes.
Maymay stayed at the big brother house for more than 100 days and she successfully completed the task and challenges given by Big Brother.
Known for her funny faces and humor inside Kuya’s house, Maymay made the Pinoy Big Brother house the happiest place on earth.
Maymay was chosen by the celebrity housemates to be one of the official teen housemates for the latest season of the show.
Throughout her stay in the house, Big Brother loves to pull pranks on Maymay. One of the most notable pranks of big brother was when he granted the wish of Maymay to see her idol, Filipino actor Enrique Gil to visit the house.
Her laughter and funny side always kept the Big Brother house alive throughout the longest season of the real-life teleserye.
Held at Alonte Sports Arena in Binan, Laguba, Maymay beats Kisses Delavin, Yong Muhajil and Edward Barber in the public votes with a total of 42.71 percent.
The runner-up, kisses got 31.27 percent of the votes, Yong with 21.52 percent while Edward gets the lowest 4.49 percent.
During her stay at the Big Brother House, Maymay became an inspiration to the Filipinos, as she reminded the audience to hold on to their dreams and to get up if they fall.
In her speech after she was announced as the big winner, Maymay inspired courage and gratitude among everyone.
“Gusto ko lang sabihi sa inyo na ‘wag na wag kayong matakot mangarap. Pangalwa,’wag niyong kalimutan, kung san man kayo mapunta sa pangarap n’yo, ‘yung mga taong tumutulong sa inyo. Pangatlo, kung nasa dulo na kayo ng inyong mga pangarap, at kapag kayo ay nadapa, lagi niyong tatandaan kung paano kayo nagsimula at kung bakit nasa dulo kayo ng inyong panagarap. At ang panghuli, ‘wag na ‘wag kayong matakot magpakatotoo kung alam n’yo naman na tama kayo, dail d’yan kayo dadalhin ng inyong pangarap, patungo sa inaasam n’yong tagumpay,” Maymay said.
Maymay received one million pesos, house and lot and Asian tour package.
