Netizen explains why you should not park in a disabled space.
Disappointed netizen took to social media and air his complaint towards another driver who parked in a disabled space of the Manila International Airport.
The netizens shared the photos of a black Toyota Fortuner with the plate “MAYOR” on Facebook has caught the attention of the netizens on social media.
The photo showed that the vehicle was parked on the PWD.
In a Facebook post of a concerned netizen, he shared that he was waiting at the Manila International Airport (MIAA) when a dark SUV park right beside the PWD sign.
After 3-5 minutes, a man alighted from the driver side and moved the PWD signage to the side and then proceed to light a cigarette stick.
A few seconds later, a security guard approached him and asked to move his vehicle. The driver faces the guard and responded saying the mayor was suffering a knee pain.
After hearing the answer of the driver, the guard suggested that they should coordinate or move to a VIP parking area instead but to his surprise, the driver only answered him with “Talk to Mayor.”
According to post, the guard explained to the driver that the area was actually not allowed. The guard then apologized and said that he is just doing his job.
The driver then became angry and shouted to the guard saying, “I said go talk to the Mayor!” driver responded more angrily.
The driver turns his back from the guard and continued to smoke his cigarette.
The post has caught the attention of the netizens on social media. Many social media users were outraged about the unacceptable actions of the driver.
Other social media users pointed out that Parking spaces or walkways with a wheelchair sign are made for PWDs. These allotted spaces for PWDs is to provide mobility and ability to move comfortably in public.
