A concerned netizen took to social media and shares a video showing an ambulance crossing an intersection was slammed by a speeding passenger jeepney.
The video was shared by a certain Facebook user named Wendell Tan on his Facebook account.
The video footage of the incident showed that an ambulance is responding to an emergency, as shown by its warning lights and blaring sirens.
The ambulance was seen trying to be cautiously cross the intersection in Sta, Mesa Manila. other motorists can be seen giving way to the ambulance, but then the passenger jeepney ignored to give way and slammed the emergency vehicle on its side.
The video has caught the attention of the netizens on social media. The incident gained thousands of the views after it has been shared by the netizens who were not only angry at the jeepney driver but were also urging other the motorist to observe the simple road rules for emergency vehicles.
“Isang malaking bob* driver ng jeep. Ang lakas ng sirena nyan at ilaw para d makita. Ibig sabihin kailangan nya na mag hanap ng ibang trabaho,” netizen said.
