Atty. Bruce Rivera open letter to President Duterte.
A well-known lawyer and prominent supporter of President Duterte, Atty Bruce Rivera writes a letter addressed to the Philippine President.
Atty. Bruce V. Rivera took to his official Facebook account and revealed that he has no access to President Duterte despite earning the reputation as a well-known Duterte defender.
In the beginning of his lengthy Facebook post, Rivera clarified that there is a chance that the President will not read his letter, but he is taking his chances.
In his letter, Rivera told the Philippine President that he is too kind to the yellows, despite the brutal attacks that he received from the opposition camp.
“Sir, sobra ra jud ka kabuotan sa mga dilawan!!! (sir, sobrang bait mo sa mga dilawan),” Rivera said.
Rivera stated that in the real sense of the word, Duterte has no opposition, but a gamut of mutineers, power-grabbers, and destabilizers.

Rivera also wrote in his post that based on his personal experience, the real opposition works by waiting for the President to commit a ‘mistake, rant about it. If there is an achievement, they keep quiet and wished for the next elections to come to replace the President.
“We wait for the President to commit a mistake, rant about it and go on with our lives. If there is an achievement, we keep quiet. And we wished for the next elections to come so we can replace the (–foul word(s) removed–) or (–foul word(s) removed–),” Rivera said.
Rivera ended his letter by saying, “All They want is to get rid of you now.”
The open letter of Atty. Bruce Rivera has caught the attention of the Pinoy online community. In fact, it gained thousands of reactions after it has been shared by the netizens on social media.
Some of the netizens supported Rivera in his letter. Other social media users urged other netizens to support the president and protect him at all cost.
